Was given a speeding ticket the other day. The cop was full of it. Yeah yeah everyone says that. But no. *I* have a dash cam, confirming I was going the exact speed limit. It seems though that I can't just send in the tape. I have a TON of legal paper work. The court is 3 hrs away anyway and I'm not driving there. So.. FML

I hate how the popo sometimes outright lies about tickets. My mom beat a speeding ticket once but cause the guy pulled over 6 people and ticketed all of us. |

a speeding ticket means points and your insurance goes up.
if it means you can fight it and you have 100% chance to win, then do it and get it out of the way. if you get 4 points, it takes 4 years to get each point without violations for a full year to come off the record.
