You'd probably have to avoid the picture board and stay out of politics and just post in areas you know are safe.

The forum is PG13 or cleaner. You shouldn't have a problem. But there is no option to guess and hide threads.

You can do that in your browser, but it'll turn off all images in all tabs. You will still see alt text.
