Call the guy or fix it yourself?
My dad thinks he can fix anything, so he always demands to come over. Then I end up with bigger problems!

I always try myself. I'll usually research, attempt it, and if it looks doable do it myself. I mean you can do anything you put your mind to right. If I prepare and fully research it I usually come out successful. I will say, electric work isn't something I do or try to. Once mistake or a faulty connection and everything is burned up, so prefer professionals do that work.

Electrical is my favorite do it myself project. Starting to dabble in other departments though.

Mr. White, doesn't it make you feel productive?

No it makes me feel obligated to know how to fix everything and I don't want that responsibility.

Sometimes I don't mind being the "helpless woman." Stuff gets fixed for me.

Half and half. Do some, call for help with others.
