I don't think this has ever worked on me either. Luckily my husband had other ways to prove his worth than "can't have this." I am the same way. I dated several guys, but the only two that turned into long term relationships were the two that told me they were in love with me after only a week of dating. It's the kind of thing that would freak most women out, I guess, but it relaxes me to know a guy is willing to just put himself out there that quickly and that he's not afraid of affection and vulnerability, I guess.

It's painful and annoying. Like I stare at my phone trying to make it ring sometimes. Lmao. That would drive me insane. One of my favorite things about my husband is that he always answers his phone when I call and likes to contact me during the day if possible. He even answers at work, unless he's in a meeting or something and then he calls me back soon afterwards. But I'm never left pining for him. That would make me miserable. He's very dependable and there for me and I appreciate it so much because I need stability in my life.

I think 80% of the time, guys are just busy or forget. It's not personal.
