I've seen it live several times. Its only expensive depending on where you see it. I saw a local ballet do this is my small town growing up and it was really cheap for tickets, but the production value and performers were still good.
But just understand, especially if you see it more than once, it can be really boring. This was like 3 minutes of someone dancing. It is much much longer than that.
