Just an opinion, but people who let their kids scream and run around in public are the same as people who let their dogs run around town, barking until 3am. This. If you aren't responsible enough to discipline a pet or child, then don't have one. Don't make your home issues public issues.

I honestly didn't know for the longest time that kids don't run up and poke or yank the hair of other people because they've always done this to me since I was a teenager in public places. Not every kid, but lots of them and I just say hi to them when they do so.

There's a big difference between abuse and discipline. Children will only push as far as they can get away with. The asshole kids know they can get away with it.

Kids do push, but not when they are running around or crying. Kids have a small vocabulary. They don't know how to sit down and calmly express their feelings. Kids run around not because they are being bratty but because they need to exercise their muscles as they are growing. And honestly as adults it would be better if we ran around like they do so we wouldn't all be so fat. You're talking about things like when they lie or cheat on a test or steal something. Running around and crying aren't the same thing.

Holy. I almost thought Patriot was here. =O That was unexpected.
I don't agree with letting kids get away with everything. Boundaries should be taught, but no you can't ban kids, unless it's a library or aa church. That's happened before.

People can ban kids from church, I don't care because I'm not religious, but don't the religious people worry about their souls if they do? Just curious. Also, it's okay. I'm not mad if anyone else isn't mad. I just have weird opinions that upset people sometimes and I understand that because I had a different upbringing than them. I just can't think like other people.

Nothing wrong with differing views as long as there's no hate.

Nothing wrong with differing views as long as there's no hate. I don't hate anyone on this forum. There was only one member I hated and he is gone. If you guys think I'm a brat for wanting a support dog and that I have the wrong opinion about children, that's just how it is. I say my opinions strongly, but I fizzle out quickly afterwards. I'm not a grudge holder and I see people as human beings, not walking opinions.

Their parents need to go somewhere so they have to come as well. So the two hours of continuous screaming seems like a good plan then?

I live in an apartment complex and everytime I take my dog out back to go to the bathroom there is a dog on the third story that barks very high pitched and loud at the window, continuously. My dog has learned her area that is to be used for going to the bathroom and she goes to the same spot every time, and I'm not about to change that.
I haven't heard the owners of the dog ONCE say something, or attempt to remove the dog from looking out the window. To me it's so rude.

This doesn't happen every time a baby is on an airplane, but if it does, the adults need to get over it. Seriously, why do you expect babies to stop acting like babies and cater to your needs when you are the adult? You annoyed lots of people when you cried as a baby. You just forget.

This doesn't bother me either. Dogs are dogs. I don't leave my dog outside, so she rarely barks at anything, but I live in a neighborhood full of dogs and whenever I walk her, there's about 20 or so dogs barking at her behind fences the entire time, even though she's being quiet and just sniffing things. It doesn't bother me. They're just trying to protect their houses and warn their owners. The only dog that ever bothered me was when I had a neighbor who left their dog in the backyard at night and at 3 am he'd wake up my husband and I with his howling.
