What are your favorite places to visit for just a weekend?
I'm going to Indianapolis for a wedding this weekend, it's only about a 3-3.5 hour drive for me.
I love to go to Brown County, Indiana during the fall. It's really beautiful and covered in trees, and they have a ton of old time type shops all over the place, and good hiking trails. It's a great place, and only 3 hours or so away.
Next on my list for weekend trips is Milwaukee or St. Louis for a baseball game

Usually to a local park, pitch a tent, cook outdoors, stay 1-2 nights

I try to travel every Sunday. It's the only day I can get out and see something new.

If only the weather could warm up, I could do it more often!
