My father collected Volkswagens when I was a kid.
Had 11 at one time.
We all learned to drive when we were around 12 or 13 and had our own cars.
I had two different Volkswagens.
One was a 1956 classic and the other was for the local cruise with a Corvair engine and 11x15 inch tires in the back...Could pop wheelies.
I never got into the whole mechanic thing though as I think my father would have hoped.
