Just wanted to invite people to enjoy the Annual Haunted Maze that the Community Library has been doing since 2009.

There are a lot of really cool Halloween themed rooms and we make improvements to them every year.

Regardless of how you feel about me you should check it out.

No need to register...just have fun.

Simply click the gravestone icon in my signature to enter the Haunted Maze.

How long did this take? I keep finding new adventures and then stopping to play them.

There are over 30 rooms...Some are amazing but some are less so.

It's a lot of work just updating things each year.

We lost many things back when the upgrade took place and with the loss of Widget Box.

If anyone has a source for cool widgets please let me know.

I'm glad you all like the maze.

Plan to add video and links to the best haunted houses in America and original poems by members in The Raven room.

I hope you will screenshot and share your pumpkin creations.

If anyone is able to escape the maze let me know...It really is possible...Not easy, but possible...LOL

I just reached the room for "The Omen-1976." I saw that movie on Netflix a few days ago. I won't be watching the remake. That film was very disturbing.

Then I reached the room for Beetlejuice. I will be watching that this month. I love that movie.

Might I make a suggestion?

Why not plan on getting together some evening to explore the maze as a group?

There is a popup chat window that allows people to chat with each other in real time as they explore the 30 different Halloween-themed rooms.

As long as you arrange your panes so one doesn't hide the other; I usually put the chat down the left side and move the main screen slightly to the right.

Remember to hit the refresh button.

You could either move through the maze together by taking turns choosing doors or you could go in different directions and report on what you discover as you find it.

If you escape you will be offered a gravestone customized with your usernames.

In order to escape you have to discover a password based on clues in the maze.

Many of the rooms were originally designed by members and either improved on or replaced over the years.

There is actually a candy room, but it may be replaced at some point.

The doors are not random as you will discover.
You can return to previous rooms by going through the same doors again, unless they are locked behind you...LOL.
Making a map of thirty rooms might be a task though.

We also plan on having a Rocky Horror Picture Show room.
