Now I've bought and sold cars all my life, but never through a garage sale. Seems weird to park a car on your lawn and just ask $700 cash for it, right?

Always through the police and the dmv on the same day.

Sounds like you were more professional about it than most people honestly.

It's a craps roll if you pick up a car like that. What makes you want it?

I don't own a Lexus in my garage yet. Might be worth the cash if it doesn't run.

Leave it. Especially if it's cash only.

I see cars in people's yards for sale all the time around here. People buy them all the time. I have. Its not illegal at all.
