Does anyone have any trips? Sometimes I can't handle going far from home, and planes surely make me ill.

You mean nerves or you just get sick?

O, this gives me an idea for another thread... will post tonight.
I do pretty well up to about the 6hr mark on international flights, then I start getting very restless, cramped, and angry. I'm a nice person so I'm still polite to those around me, but inside I'm thinking angry thoughts and counting every minute until I can be freed. But, I also can't sleep on airplanes so that contributes to my anxiety.

Do you think it's the length of the travel or knowing you are far away or both or other?

It's more just FEELING that home is far away and I could get stuck somewhere.

Sounds like it's an underlying fear of getting trapped.
What if your car got stolen at a mall and you didn't have a cell phone?

That would be the same fear, yes.
