Socially it seems that it's ok for women to do the beating, but morally, I don't think it's ok for anyone.

I don't think as a culture we actually support women beating up men. Like Solange assaulting Jay-Z. There are some stupid people that supported what she did, but for the most part, people thought what happened was very wrong.
But light arm smacking when a guy says something rude, that's what our culture seems to find acceptable. I try to break myself of the habit, but my husband and I rough house a lot in general, so I'm not exactly sure where to draw the line.
