Hmm I think I have a pretty decent split of male and female friends. In my experience, my female friends talk a lot more about people when we are hanging out together. Sometimes good things, but mostly things that annoy them or they don't like. When I'm Opp with just male friends, we rarely talk about our other friends that are not there. I do have some female friends that make the claim that all their friends are male, and I can say I think those are the ones that talk the most about people behind their back. Just my experiences, not trying to throw out blanket statements... I've also noticed that women who say this also tend to sleep with the boyfriends and husbands of their female "friends". Uh...

I wouldn't say that's true in general. Maybe with some...

I guess I'm just weird then... In high school, practically all of my friends were guys. But I didn't date or sleep with any of them. To me that's like the whole point of guy friends. Non-complicated relationships (friendships)... They're like brothers.

I have mostly girl friends. And I definitely agree with ADIAW on what she said earlier. I'm kind of glad they say they 'can't be friends with girls' because frankly I wouldn't want to be your friend anyways.
