It's the assumption that a man's preferences are relevant to most women. The topic? How... It said "how much makeup do you wear?" How is that assuming that a woman cares what a man thinks about her? I was referring directly to the comment pertaining to a man having a preference on what a woman chooses to look like. THAT itself isn't really a valid topic to me. Why is it relevant for someone to have judgments or opinions on what someone ELSE chooses to look like? It's their own personal choice. It's not for your benefit. That was my point.

That's how people are. Women do/dont like suits, muscles, facial hair, height, deep voice etc. Men have preferences of women too.

It's all bs to me. People should be able to do what they want with themselves, makeup, hair, clothes, even plastic surgery... in peace, without people having judgy opinions. Male or female. I always find it irritating when people have to comment on someone's appearance in a negative way. But that's just me...

^Yeah commenting is uncool, but I will agree that we all are attracted to different things.

Going up and directly insulting someone is simply rude. But if a woman asks what a man prefers, there is no harm in it.
For me, if a girl I am with likes my hair styled in a particular way, or likes something I do cometically then I am going to do that for them. I'd rather wear a shirt that a girl told me she thought I looked good in than a shirt that I thought I looked good in but she did not.

I think boyfriends and girlfriends ask each other all the time and often change things to please their mate. I shave my face for mt gf, not for myself.

Hm... I guess personally, I just wouldn't ask my husband to alter his appearance on my behalf, I didn't marry him so I could "customize" him to my preferences... I don't really do anything different for him either, he doesn't expect me to.

My BF looks better with Makeup on then I do hahaha.
I tend to stay away from it all together, unless it's a wedding or something special.

I guess I don't wear a ton but it's a fair amount. Full face of BB cream, concealer and powder to even skin tone, winged eyeliner, mascara, sometimes a little neutral colored eye shadows (browns/tans/peach), brows, blush and sometimes bright red lipstick since that seems to be the only color I can pull off. I loooooove my makeup. It's a nice, calm part of my day but doens't take me an hour (give me 5 minutes and I can put a full face of makeup on) and I always feel more confident and beautiful with. (oh but you should accept yourself and your natural beauty) well nothing wrong with enhancing it and hiding things that make you self conscious. ouob
Interesting video that opped up in my subs today relating to this topic

I wear makeup every day as a requirement to my job. I really don't care for the whole "I like women natural looking" argument from men who would find most women without makeup a lot uglier than with makeup...though they would never admit it. *shrugs* I think it's more of HOW people apply it. I can wear powder foundation and blush or bronzer and look more natural than a lot of the women I know who use massive amounts of coverup. The people who are good at it...can trick you into thinking they have none on. Obviously I don't really try to hide that I'm wearing it. Those are just a few pictures from over the months.

I do like makeup. Natural beauty is great too. I just don't like the caked on makeup.
