Fictitious example:
Say someone you've been dating for a year and loved, was about to move in.
He/she doesnt like pets and wants you to choose.
Would you keep the pet or keep the SO?

The pet came first. The SO can deal with it, or keep her own place.

I'd think it would be something we'd talk about before she moves in, but I wouldnt get rid of my animals for someone new.
