Have you ever had to watch after someone's pet? I'm in that situation now and I dont really like entering their house by myself

I did it a few times as a teen and liked it because I love petting animals.
Technically, my dogs I was only supposed to pet sit. The original owner went to jail and his pets wound up in a shelter and we took them out to take care of them. The original owner was my landlord at the time. But he was a horrible person who deserved to go to that jail and I quickly figured out that he didn't really care about those pets, so I kept them. And just like I thought, he cared so little about these pets that he never even asked me to give them back to him. Even when I told him that I wouldn't give them back, he didn't care at all.

It's fun if you are patient and responsible. Don't expect to be paid. IMO, it should be done only if you love animals, and not if you want a job.
