Has anyone ever seen boarded up homes? What do you think is inside? Why are they boarded up? Are they haunted?

I think it initially just starts to keep people out.

It's mostly to keep people off the property... but I dont know why some of them have giant red Xs all over the boards.

I see them a lot in bad neighborhoods. I kinda want to take a look, but dont want to walk in on a drug raid

They're probably just inhabitable... something is horribly wrong inside and they need to be knocked down.

I usually troll around town and take pictures of them.

Havent seen too many, but I'd steer clear. They're usually condemned.

I have a theory that they're all haunted.

I keep driving when I see them. I kind of think they are haunted too.

I think they're only marked and boarded to keep people out.

The police monitor most of them. So be careful.

The police monitor most of them. So be careful. Here too. It's still trespassing.

Usually houses are boarded by the local housing code enforcement department to remedy broken glass after the owner fails to comply with a notice to abate violations.
