I'm agnostic, so it kind of depends on my mood.
Sometimes I believe in heaven, but in my idea of heaven, people totally move on from earth (just like we move on when people die) and live fun and different lives where they don't worry about the people they left behind until we die, too, and join them.
Sometimes I believe in reincarnation. But in my idea of reincarnation it's more like the Lion King. The whole circle of life thing. So I want to be cremated and have my remains buried with a tree, so that the tree will grow out of me and I will become the tree and therefore, in my own way, be reincarnated. Also, I don't want to be buried, in case reincarnation is real. I feel like if my body decays faster, I will be reincarnated faster.
Also, I think I might be an old soul. I don't tend to love to try new things and I never went through a crazy stage in life where I got drunk or tried drugs or did anything "fun." I've always been boring and often hung out with old people. So I feel like if reincarnation is real, then I've already done a lot of the stupid stuff in my past lives, so I am over it now....LOL.
And other times, I feel like atheists are right and it's ridiculous to think that anything happens except for our consciousness disappearing and our body decaying. After all, when you look at death and take it literally for what you see, that's all it is.
But at the same time, a part of me wants to hope for more.
That's why I'm agnostic. I can't decide really what I believe in.
Except for one thing. I will never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever believe that anyone goes to hell. Not even Hitler or Ted Bundy or any of the worst people you can think of. I hate the idea of hell.
