Do any of you have home stereos? Do you use a computer? Any point in a big system at home?

If you aren't big on music, connect your player to a dock or speakers.

Stacked in a stereo case is fine. Everything is in one place.

Your needs don't sound too much. Get a cd,tape, mp3 player in one.

Have an old/big boombox type system in the living room for hooking up to a phone/mp3 player and for listening to NPR with dinner/etc. In my office I've got a logitech Z-5500 that I cobbled together from a few different broken sets a friend of mine had.
