We can use this thread to discuss in general our interest in American Football given the Season "begins" with a Pre-Season game this upcoming Sunday night.

I'm a Seattle Seahawks fan. I expect big thrings from our club this year, looking to take another step towards a return to the SB since our last visit in 2005. Growing young stud QB, ground and pound running game and a hard hitting Defense. I like our chances, though getting through the Season does take luck and breaks have to go your way. It's a marathon not a sprint.

I can't wait personally.

I'm happy with his decision to get surgery now and be done with it, rather than play hurt all year. This early on they are saying he should be back in Dec, just in time for a playoff push. We were a great without him last year, no reason to think we can't be just as good. Adding him back will only an extra dynamic late in the season Defenses need to account for.
