Do the looks of a place change how the food tastes and if you want to eat there to begin with?

KFC is doing a little experiment.

Chipotle/Five Guys have conditioned people into paying $10 for fast food, now fried chicken is next

A new experimental KFC will open on Bardstown Road in Louisville’s Highlands neighborhood early next month with a new menu and a hipper look, but no buckets and no Col. Harland Sanders.

Dubbed KFC eleven for the fried chicken recipe’s 11 herbs and spices, the restaurant will feature flat bread sandwiches,chicken rice bowls and boneless versions of the original recipe. Classic fried chicken containing bones will not be available at KFC eleven...

I wondered why that KFC shut down, I didn't know they were going to do that to it. I figured it shut down since the only other restaurants in that area are all local ones / non chain sh*t save for a couple, and those ones aren't fast food places like KFC.

People would only pay $3 for a burrito at Taco Bell, but would pay $12+ at Chipotle or another Mexican place.
