Forum Chatroom

People have expressed confusion regarding when forum chats are held. There has also been some concern regarding what IM client we use.

I decided to remove the old java chatroom, and enable the ShoutBox instead. This way seems more secure. No one's name can be spoofed, and you must be logged in to your account to post messages.

Chats seem to be popular on Saturday nights around 7pm EST. However, the ShoutBox will retain conversations forever, and you can leave your mark whenever you'd like.

I think it's better than the java rooms, but I think the box does clear after a while. I like it either way.

For ease I would put a link to the chat in the menu bar.

Thought you hated the shoutbox, but I like how you implemented it. Being on its own page wont distract from threads. Also, EG has a good idea about adding it to the menu so we dont have to keep looking for this thread.

I think you should fix what you wanted to first before you add it to the menu.

Looks like it's on the menu. I like how it's more secure than the java rooms.
