I say, do whatever adds buoyancy to your floatation device. I prefer books, but if you prefer the movies people shouldn't be rude to you about it.

I love movies and books. And it dont spoil it for me either way I get into them. I even like to see several versions of the same story like the movie of Romeo and Juliet>>> Franco Zeffirelli's 1968 with Leonard Whiting and Olivia Hussey and then Baz Luhrmann's 1996 Romeo + Juliet with Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes. Sometimes I see a movie first and then want to read the book.
