Does anyone have a problem during intimacy that they are so insecure with themselves, that they never enjoy it?

I usually don't think that way. No.

I used to be like that, but my reassuring gf got me over it pretty quickly.

Nope. Having a reassuring partner will help, but you need to be comfortable in your own skin regardless. If it's just shyness about being nude, walk around nude, do things you wouldn't do, etc. If it's physical appearance, start working out or doing pushups...anything to help you feel better. You'll be amazed at the self confidance gained just by working out and noticing subtle results.

Somebody gave me that advice about being nude and I started by sleeping without PJ's and now I wouldnt feel comfortable sleeping any other way. But you dont have to walk around naked in front of your lover if you feel uneasy, just wrap a towel, sarong or wear a Tshirt or what ever.

I think a lot of people have this issue. You have to be comfortable with yourself before you will enjoy being "active" with someone else.

I think women might have this problem more. Judging from experience, most men think they're hot no matter how fat they are.

My gf has this problem. She's comfortable with me, but not with herself.

When my legs are a little hairy because I waited a day or something to shave them, I get super insecure and avoid sex. It's because I feel repulsive. If he touches my legs, I'm shuddering at how ugly I am. But I asked him if it bothers him for me not to have shaved my legs and he says no, so I try to ignore it.

yes i wax, use an epilator, and shave like a mad bastard because i enjoy knowing i will be soft and smooth but at the same time it hurts like a mother****er and i don't even know why i'm doing it, i personally don't care if i'm a naked mole rat or king kong like who exactly am i doing this for like i can't wait for feminism to kick in and let us ladies parade around w hairy legs because guys can do it and to say we can't just because we have vaginas is bullsh*t either way i take a lot of precautions before hanging out w my boyfriend and even then i need to be hammered to not be uncomfortable but i'm not sure if that's because i'm uncomfortable with myself or because the idea of sex bores me more on this at the 8 o clock news

I don't care if my girl's legs have some hair, or if she doesnt shave other stuff.
She'll care to the point of hating being with me though.

I am stupid insecure about my body. But with my boyfriend, I have never once felt embarrassed or ashamed or uncomfortable because I know he loves me and if I put up with his scratchy mustache kisses when he forgets to shave, he can put up with my scratchy leg rubbings when I forget to.

I'm not very comfortable with my physical appearance, but I still enjoy intimacy.
