I'll be getting a vacestamy done soon...we'll see how bad it hurts. Heard it was fairly painless and quick. Will provide a detailed report

I think you're probably insisting on the 21 age because you are afraid of going, DSD, but I've only actually done more than fooling around with one man my entire life and I visit the gynecologist once a year. If you're sexually active and especially on birth control pills (like me!) it's good to see them often. I have to see them often because they won't give me more birth control prescriptions if I don't. But I get why you're scared. I HATE going. In fact, I always have someone I trust with me, holding my hand.
The exams are painful for me, Lola, as well. =(
And also, I totally get having trust issues about it. One guy who was examining me was making faces the entire time he was examining me. And it HUMILIATED me. I had nightmares about it afterwards.

The doctors who make you get an exam, like an actual physical exam once a year, are not concerned for their health...they're just trying to make money off of you and you are letting them....

The doctors who make you get an exam, like an actual physical exam once a year, are not concerned for their health...they're just trying to make money off of you and you are letting them.... I can believe that's possible. They're trying to tell me it's a law or something because birth control pills increase your risk of cancer, but I can believe they are lying. It's similar to how when I try to buy glasses without an exam, every place tells me that an exam beforehand is required by law maybe. I got really pissed when they told me that. I barely had enough money for a new pair of glasses and I was pretty sure there was no law that says you can't sell someone a pair of glasses unless their eyes were checked within the last three months.
