Worked at a large company for 7 years and made the move to a small company in June.
Aside from the 4 or 5 catered lunches already this month, I realized I don't have to worry with lunch for the next 3 days.
Also won $1 on the scratch off lottery ticket at my desk yesterday morning and I was hand delivered Easy Peppermint Fudge.

Depending on the large company you work for and what your position is in the company.

Bonuses can be much higher than 8-10% of base if you're at a big company.

We used to get sh*t catered in from a local place that did smoked steaks. They had these smoked pork steaks that were AMAZING.
But then our company pushed this healthy living bullsh*t, and put a calorie limit on what they would allow to be catered in.

Big companies usually have a single party and expect you to work up until 5pm on Christmas Eve and expect you return at 9am the day after.

It's nice to do something for the holidays in general.
