good way to evict tenant? besides the obvious legal process, which takes too long.

Either do it the legal way or do it the really unscrupulous, illegal, fast way that involves him getting knocked out and waking up with all his sh*t somewhere far from your property. Any other sh*t will likely end up with you getting ****ed.

Offer him $300 bucks to leave. The lawyer fees and 2+ months of him staying during the eviction process will cost you much more.
Tell him you wanna help him because he's a good guy and evictions look bad on his credit
only give him the $ once he's fully out with his sh*t and gives you back the key. I'd have him sign something too saying he's moved out.

Lawyer fees for evictions cost $500+, then tack on the additional 2-3 months he's just gonna kick it there w/o paying rent. It's worth it
