Dont bump stuff where ths conversations ended. If it's old, maybe re-create the topic

General unspoken rule of forums is to not reply to anything behind the first page. I wouldnt reply to threads where the conversations have ended. Might be better to recreate a topic if you want to talk about something specific

Anything more than a few weeks old should probably stay where it is.
Gonna agree with the people above and say to just make a new topic.
Replying to old threads probably wont be good. The conversation will have ended ages ago, and no one would add to it after your reply IMO

How old are we talking?

Feel free to make topics on whatever you want. Just because it's been discussed in the past, doesn't mean we can't discuss it again.
I just wouldn't bump an old post if that's what you mean.

I was talking about bumping up some old topics if they were interesting, but I suppose remaking them would be better.

Yeah if they died, the people in the thread were probably done with it. If it's semi recent, you could bump it. If it's years old... no way.
I tend to keep it on the first page

No problem with bringing back old topics, but generally it's considered bad forum etiquette to bump stuff that's old.
Make new threads on anything you want. OR if it's on page 1, bump away

Maybe link or quote the previous thread into the new one if you want it to be a part2
