I've been thinking about getting into swimming laps for maybe an hour a day after reading the health blog threads. Been trying to eat right lately but it obviously isnt enough because i sit at a desk all day. do you swim just in the summer or for your health?

you're not gonna get shredded swimming in a pool, but it is good for you
But I also don't have my own pool

from what i've read using it as a weight loss exercise isn't that worthwhile. I'm starting to go once a week and I do feel it in my shoulders but not as much as a regular gym day.
