I currently have a small walk in shower. I want to rip it and the cabinets next to it out, and do a large walk in shower (will make it 60" wide)
Mom thinks a tub would add more value to the house, since we are planning to sell in 4-5 years anyways. The other bathroom has a tub in it.
Thoughts?

You should do what you want instead of worrying about the almighty dollar.

neither is really a huge selling point unless you're going to spend a few thousand bucks to make it look swanky at which point either option will be badass

if there's another bathtub in the house, go with a 60/30 or 60/32 walk-in shower

right now its like a 30/30
Its an ultra small bathroom. Has the toilet, shower, cabinet ... with pretty much no other room. The sink and vanity is outside the door in the bedroom part.
