Anyone have experience with a glass back splash? We're looking at redoing our countertops and putting in a more substantial back splash in our kitchen either this year or next. We were thinking of doing a solid glass back splash rather than tile. Anyone here have a solid glass back splash? Any pros/cons over tiling?

from what I read, there's two ways to mount... one would be liquid nails, which is fine if you paint the back side of the glass, the 2nd is to "pin" it at the top underneath the cabinets with a piece of quarter round, then lay a bead of silicon on the top of the counter.
We'll likely go with the latter that way we can change the color of the wall behind the glass

My friend did that. Had someone else install it, looks pretty nice (not my first choice in colors though), but was super expensive
