I need help you guys I'm actually going out for Halloween this year, and I have no idea what I should wear. I don't want to just be a slut like all of the other girls who go out on Halloween, and I want to be at least partially comfortable. I've picked out some possibilities and I need help narrowing them down/suggestions of something else you think would be awesomesauce. Ready? I like this one because I can wear flat gladiator shoes with it (even though I hate that style, at least they're flat.) Also, badass. I like this one because with high enough boots (and some tights), it covers a lot. And, boots are way more comfortable than heels. Also, badass. I WOULD DIE OF HEAT IN THIS BUT IT'S SO AWESOME IT CAN'T NOT BE IN THE RUNNING! Except not with heels because those look dumb and also, heels. This one's honestly my least favorite. I'd wear with it opaque black tights and a sheer black shrug and probably some black boots. I was gonna do a R.I.P.unzel (dead Rapunzel) thing because I have a lot of blonde hair but I can't find a corpsy enough dress on the cheap =\

The Musketeer's movie is coming out soon, so that would be timely/automatically puts that in the running, if you ask me. Not yet decided though.

The glowing one looks awesome. That one would be the automatic winner if I wasn't afraid the material wouldn't be breathable enough to survive in as-of-right-now questionable weather. There's pretty much no way to tell what it's gonna be like that night and if it's too hot/humid, I would almost certainly die.

^How hot is TX in October? Cause over here it'll probably be in the 40s.. It could be anywhere from like 80-85 to 60. But if it's raining it's going to be super humid and 80-85 to 60.

Damn, I was hoping you were going to model all the outfits. I wish I could try them all on but they're only online.

Go with the R.I.P.unzel idea. You have a month to look.

I'm going to continue looking for a good dress for that, this is really just the backup plan if I can't find one. Mostly because I've been known to procrastinate and I don't want to not find a cheap enough dress and then have no alternate idea.

You have a Party City/Party Box/ Costume store? You probably do. You could mix and match. Aside from pre-packaged items, there's generally a lot of loose items you can work with and put together.

You overestimate how artsy-craftsy I am. I'm hoping to find just one dress that's corpsified or zombified enough to pass. The only problem is that it's Rapunzel's dress so it also has to be like, medieval/renaissance-y. I could probably find a dress of one of those eras but it's not going to be torn and bloody and whatnot, and I don't know how to do those so that it would still look good.

I've looked at those. I don't really want something white though.
