I wanted to see how much sh*t was really in the water here.. I would like to think we have decent public water quality, as we have a sh*t load of hippies trying to keep it real. I wanted to get a feel for what we have been drinking for the past month, so I put in a new filter in the Brita after prepping it, and ran a gallon through the Brita first before putting it into the distiller to see what all was left behind. Out of the 1 gallon I distilled (which first was filtered through the Brita) I was left with 1 wine glass worth of this sh*t left over. Do you use water filtration?

You'd spent $399 on stuff that will last a few years, etc. But you drink water EVERYDAY for the rest of your life. It's a wise/cheap investment.

minerals...and heavy medals, chlorine, chloramine, floride, VOCs.... etc etc.
This is one of the few distillers on the market that has a special valve in the coils to vent VOCs that have a boiling point below water, so you don't re-condense them.... this was another reason it is in the garage

I'm pretty sure that tap water and bottled water from springs and purification have minerals in them that are really good for you and you dont get once water is distilled
