Made me think of this subject when I got that ridiculously great deal on that fairly big eagle picture today. Another one I can think of is in regards to those nice marine life sculptures you may have seen at a mall, having dolphins and such put on a rock, going for like $75 or something. Well, I found one of those, a swordfish, for...actually I don't recall, but I think it was less than $10. It didn't have any color on it (I've seen killer whales ones that were at least in black and white) but that was another steal I got. And I was living in a townhouse at the time and took my neighbors to the sale, and they filled up my car with stuff they bought and they said I had snagged the best thing out of the entire batch of junk we had grabbed. One of them offered to hold it but he seemed a bit *too* eager to do that, so I put it in my lap...which the sword part of the swordfish was stabbing me in the leg as I drove home Share ones you found.

Wish I had pictures...might take some later. But at the beginning of May, I got 20+ Goosebumps books for $3 total. Might relive my youth a little.

I generally do better at flea markets. Sometimes you get lucky and find a vendor who actually wants to get rid of their stuff....instead of trying to make a job out of it.

Swap meet seems self-explanatory to me, but good point about 'flea market'

Even swap meet makes no sense. You're not meeting to swap goods. *shrugs*
