Psh, i play current games and old games at work. I still play more of the older games compared to campy, hand holding, linear games of today.
Older games > today's games.

Of course, the mid 70s to early 80s for me were my favorite, since that's when the Big Boom started. However, the 90s stuff with the 16 bit systems, being able to save games that could go on for months (like computers could back in the late 70s to early 80s, except for those of us that only had game consoles were outta luck) were pretty good, that's when things were really happening.
