ink was two for $12
It works great! Unlike a modern computer, it:
1) starts up instantly
2) powers down instantly
3) doesn't crash
4) doesn't spam me with bullsh*t

My dad brought home a typewriter from work for me to write book reports on.
It would hold an entire line of text in memory and auto space it and check for spelling, and then when you hit enter.plammmbrrtttatp..... it would instantly type out that one line of text.
****ing incredible. it blew my 6 year old brain apart.
Then a year or two later when we got the commodore 64 and dot matrix printer from sears, my brain was blown apart all over again.
I loved peeling off the tractor feed from the sides of the paper afterwards.

Pretty cool, I don't get the haters. They must be incapable of nostalgia or they're 15 and younger.
I have a Brother word processor around, but I don't know if it works or not. Can't even remember how I got it or where it came from lol.
