Looking for some thing to do in my free time. I already do the typical stuff like go to the gym, read books, listen to music, go hiking and snowboarding when the season is right, etc.
Plus other normal hobbies like bicycling or photography doesn't interest me at all. Looking for something unique and different. I got into watching classic cinema but a lot of footage is unavailable digitally and obtaining a physical copy that is not on film strips is difficult.

You could go fly a kite. I don't mean those little kid kites though. I'm talking about big ass 8' wide kites with two strings and sh*t that lets you steer them around and do tricks and spins and sh*t. Heck yeah. Kites.

pick up a lost martial art that has little or no bearing in modern society but will allow you to buy a snazy costume and focus time and energy into mastering something. I forget what they call the japanese sword fighting, but something like that.

Lots of dudes on here are into RC sh*t, cars, trucks, and then flight crew with their helis and planes.
You could always do some woodwork. Not very unconventional, but fun and interesting.
How about leatherwork?

Don't know about the RC cars but yes on the other things. These are the types of suggestions that I was looking for. I used to be into machining when I had access to a workshop during college.

Woodwork could be right up your alley then. It's time-consuming, it involves concentration, and there's a physical ending to each project.
You could also learn an instrument, either conventional or unconventional. My buddy's teaching himself to play the melodica. I didn't know what the **** it was until he showed me. It's basically a mouth-piano.

Geocoaching = going to a bunch of GPS points and finding little things hidden in the natural environment so you can put your own little nerd mark on it and leave it where you found it.
It's fun

learn to juggle. I started learning to juggle, because it helps build the kind of hand eye coordination
