I want to start aquiring tools to start woodworking again... I used to make pretty good cash making furniture in highscool.
What are some must have tools? What should I get first? I won't be able to get everything at once.
I have I have hammers and drills and various handsaws
im thinking of making a few of these for spring/summer
ive sold them in the past and i live on a pretty busy road that a bunch of rich suburban people drive by.... thinking of throwing them i the side yard with for sale signs in the summer

Look on craigslist, probably a table saw and a miter saw at least. I've been seeing them for $50 a piece on my local CL.

i don't have a shop per say... i used to work in my dads shop which is 8000sq ft and has a huge cnc machine, smaller cnc machine and all other shop setup.
the cabinet shop i work in now is like 15,000 sq ft but doesnt have a cnc machine.. .just holzher saw/table saw/ all other small woodshop machines for cabinet production.. edgebander/hinge pockets etc.
i'm an installer, when i'm in the shop i'm doing project management/estimating for bids - not so much production.

table saw compound miter saw jigsaw various routers and sanders decent air compressor brad nailer and finish nailer spray gun for spraying on poly urethane
then start to acquire things that just make life easier such as surface sanders and planers, biscuit joiners. also try and find or make a glue rack with bar clamps.

Get a compound miter saw, it is the best single tool you can have. After that some good hand tools. Drills, jig saws, and so on.
