I'm genuinely thrilled to be a part of this forum. It's so entertaining, and the lulz are nonstop.
A few reasons why:
1. The fact that bboy has such a huge number of users who are also incredibly active makes this awesome. A lot of people might run from such a forum. BBOY seems to have captured the imagination of the masses. It's nirvana to a loser like me.
2. There are so many awesome picture threads. Last night I read a 7-page thread consisting SOLELY of stupid internet gifs and memes, and spent forever laughing my ass off.
3. Most things are mature, but still clean. I like that.
4. There's always something fresh. It's like flipping the channels, except there are no infomercials.
5. sh*t be hoppin' at ALL hours. This place is buzzing every hour of every day. If I'm bored at 3AM I can come on here and sh*t is fresher than the prince of bel air.

^Every host has a TOS similar to proboards. NO site lets you post anything illegal or that breaks their local laws.

I think you're mistaking a "stupid sh*tty host who's solely in the game for monetary profit of other peoples conversation" for a real host that you pay for hosting and that's it... as long as it's not kiddie porn, you're pretty much in the clear. For example, it's against ToS to post about alcohol consumption because it has to be 13+ compliant...it's a good thing none of us have ever drank alcohol. My host's ToS is "don't do anything that's going to subpoena me for your contact info" ... that's about it. You've got to work pretty hard to break that ToS. -darc |
