Which christmas lights are your favorite?

I like the big C7 lights. They're tacky as hell, but something about them just makes it feel more like Christmas. Thinking about getting a couple strings for my place.

I like the C7 bulbs as well, but I like the painted ones, not the see through glass like your pic. And I like the old school wasteful filament bulbs the LEDS or micro-lights in a larger shell just don't look right.

I went though a phase where I liked the mini bulbs but nothing is as classy as perfectly straight and spaced C7's

Agreed. But I prefer the all white C7's. Not a big fan of the multicolor or blinking lights.

I wonder how the LEDs look compared to the filament.

I didn't know there were bigger C9s too. I might get a couple strings of the filament version and string them around my entertainment center.

I wonder how hot they get.

I hate them all when they're still hanging on the outside of someone's house come April. There's a family on my street that leaves their outdoor lights up all year round....and they're the "icicle" type lights so they're huge/long and hard to miss.
