I'm looking for a full length cooking apron.
I use a waist length one at work but realize that the tops of a lot of my clothes are spotted so I need an over the neck type. I don't want to break the bank but want to be comfortable too. I know I can pick one up at the kitchen supply store for <$20 but don't think it will be the most comfortable or best fitting one out there.
Does anyone even use an apron?
Recommendations?
Chef's coat?

Cheap ones are about the same as the kitchen store aprons. No need to go overboard.

Check out chefwear.com You can pick sizes/colors/ and look at all different stuff. I used to get all my work pants from there, very comfortable and lasted a LONG time. A chef coat is nice, and if you have sleeves it will help protect your arms from burns, great for grilling. I wear one everyday, and it has purpose other than looking like the pillsbury dough boy

Whatever you get, just make sure you get the matching pants.

Honestly, dont use one. There isn't a need for one unless you cook for a living. If you just cook your meals, what's the point??

Chefswear tends to have a lot of holiday sales toward the middle of November. So wait another week before you buy.
