Ingredients:
bacon ( like one inch of a pack) half an onion (cut in small pieces) potato (or sweet potato) carrot Turnip fish (any type, mainly cod or haddock) salt, pepper.
First of all fry up the bacon in your pot, get rid of half the grease (the rest will make stock)
Secondly, turn the heat down on the stove, put in your onion, carmelize it along with the bacon.
add water, your carrot, turnip and potato. when they're half cooked, place the fish on top of your stew, cover it, and leave it alone for a good 20 mins.
Its done, its simple, enjoy.
