How much better is business class than coach on Delta?
Have to fly to Sao Paulo for work and it's required on international flights they seat you in business class which I have never flown.
Just curious if it's really worth the extra $$ for a 10 hour flight.
Edit. Not paying for it myself..company paid.

if they pay for it, absolutely.
if not, it's between 2-3x more than a coach ticket. Even tho coach blows for international travel, i can't justify paying 2-3x more to sit in a seat a few hours.

When i flew to Tokyo from Detroit it was a $5,000 ticket, compared to the $1,400 my ticket cost. IMO there is no way that was worth it if i was personally funding it. It was a 747 though.

flying delta, fly TAM it's a lot cheaper and usually more available direct flights. I was in Sao Paulo about a month ago and flew coach on a night flight. Def. NOT worth paying for business class if you are paying for it yourself. 9 hours goes by very fast over night, you would be surprised.

then go business, but your company is retarded if they pay for it. Your comfort for a few hours is NOT worth shelling out 3 times the cost of a regular seat.

if you're going for a week it's a business visa.
work visa takes 2+ months to process.

It's a gray area. You don't need a work/business visa unless you're exchanging commerce or making money there. Just get a tourist visa. The Brasilian Federal Police don't even talk to foreigners when you go through immigration/customs, they just run your passport and visa and that's it.
