I want to go somewhere fun but cheap, maybe on a 2-3 grand budget. Preferably somewhere with nice hot weather and a beach to get some color into my pale state skin. Anyone been somewhere that fits that description? Any other recommendations are welcome, I just want to leave the country for a nice laid back trip before summer ends.

Costa Rica, Belize come to mind for Central America on the cheap.
