who automatically proofreads their post AFTER they submit, then edits? this is how i catch stupid errors or typos that aren't squiggly-red-underlined. i guess i just read anything i've just written after i'm done. i'm not going to revise a post mid-post, and usually after i'm done typing, i hit submit/reply right away.

I like the thrill of frantically fixing my post before someone quotes my typo and laughs at me.

I always edit my posts after I post them. I always wondered if other people did that too. I would think most would proof read their material before posting.

i just got into the habit of hitting reply before i decide to read, chalk it up to the speed of the forum i guess

Yup, I tend to proofread AFTER I post too.

It depends on the post, but I edit my posts a whole lot on here. If it's a quick post, I don't proofread it at all until afterwards (and sometimes not even then.) If it's a long post, I proofread it a few times, post it, and then proof read it again and realize I made mistakes while typing, either that or I thought I was done typing and suddenly remember something I wanted to add and wind up editting it.

Write, proofread, correct (<---added that word after posting and rereading), post, read, correct, re-post, rinse, lather, repeat.

If you don't use quick reply, the preview button is awesome. I tend to use that option when I'm putting up a lot of pictures.
