I keep getting stuff emailed to me about failed login attempts and password requests
Why would someone want my account on here?
Should I post the IP its coming from?
its in the email.
Then you'll know if it's one of the current members

How do you know it's someone from this site trying to hack into your e-mail? Did you have your e-mail publically posted or something?
And if you search google, they have web-sites that will tell you the location of the IP address (which might not be the exact location of where the person lives, but it will at least be nearby) and you could use that information to get a better idea of who it is.
Like, if they live in your area or if they live far away and they are someone you met on the internet or something.
