anyone else getting this message under the banner?

i never saw ads in the first place but i know some people did. i wonder why they have been disabled

I assume someone paid to have it free, Proboards decided to go 'nice' for a limited time, or yarny hacked something ;D

EDIT: just checked on another Proboards forum I'm on, that one's ad-free too...must be something up with them then

Some people were getting bad ads. they are disabled on all boards like it says

Problem Ads

Dear ProBoards members:

Due to an increase in problems from some ad networks, we have disabled every ad network except for Google for the time being. This should alleviate any problems you were having with your forums related to the ads.

Once we feel that the situation is sorted out we will re-enable the other networks.

i've seen the same ads appear for about a month and a half. maybe people were spamming them?

I never got the ads anyway my browser filters out ads.
