I was thinking about this earlier today. I tend not to read incredibly lengthy posts unless it is a topic I am interested in.
I read all one-liners, especially if I'm at work and just want a bunch of random things to read
Some members' posts I just ignore entirely.

Doesnt really matter who it is or how long it is. Most of the time I'll only exit a post immediately if it's written like this:
hi so today i did this really cool thing i wrote a post and blah blah all my sentences run together

Only if the subject of the thread doesn't interest me or is something I know nothing about. I read all long posts. I used to get bored easily and only be able to read one-liners, but now I find myself enjoying to log onto forums and read pages and pages of posts (some of them long) without even replying to them necessarily. It's just interesting, although I always reply if I have something to contribute.

Length doesnt really matter. It's the topic that matters. If I have something to say back, I'll always read and reply.
