Or do you not pay attention? Do you think anyone on here is obsessed with their post count? I wouldnt even say tampa is cause he may have a lot, but he's never on lol... Do you think you'd still post regularly if post counts were disabled completely?

I never pay attention to mine, unless I see it on the Top 5 posters thing. It always surprises me how close to 10k I am.

^It still adds to the forum total. It just doesnt add to anyone's post count.... cause she didnt want spam-spam, just wanted "conversation spam"

For the most part, I don't pay that much attention and if there was no post count at all on these boards, I would, indeed, continue to post on them on a regular basis. I post for the people, not the post count.
BUT it's a lot of fun to get your post count up as high as possible and I can always tell how much I love a forum by the post count I reach on it. This forums I love a lot because my post count is reaching the thousands. Forums that are only average to me, my post count only ever makes it to the hundreds, and forums I hate, my post count never even reaches one hundred. I can always tell how much I love a forum by my post count.
