I had some business to take care of in a town close by... Me and my brother were riding around and he noticed a bunch of old arcade cabinets and jukeboxes and stuff like that just sitting outside a old run down building I turned around and we pulled into the lot... Spoke with the guy and asked if he minded if we looked around a bit he had no problem with it and we started exploring... He had a street fighter cabinet, a wwf royal rumble cabinet, a few cabinets with the guns(like time crisis or something similar), and a few other random ones...some were in rough shape, broken screens, etc.. I noticed one of my all time favorite arcade games off to the side...and took a closer look It was in decent shape...screen was intact, along with buttons and all that jazz...you could tell it had been sitting out for a while..the wood around the controls was swollen and a few other blemishes I walked back to the guy and asked him how much he would take for it he looked at me like I was retarded and said "that piece of sh!t??! Why do you want that? I have alot better ones inside..." I said I wanted a project and he said that I could have it if I had someway to get it home.... Loaded it up in the truck and rolled home The cord had been cut, but I took a spare extension cord I had and butchered it to serve as the plug in for the cabinet... I didn't expect it to work at all...planned on throwing a computer in there and running mame after replacing all the buttons since they're so old ///////// HOLY sh!t IT WORKS A little work and some cheap parts...should be good as new..

I'm not into beat 'em-ups--even severely classic ones such as that--but it's stupid and unprofessional to question someone's tastes. So, is this your first arcade machine?

you can set it to free play or you can just open the door and there is a small pin like metal latch that "counts" the coins that go thru that you can just slid down with your finger. no need to put coins thru it.

^ open the top door and there should be two buttons in the back that are red, one of them should be the way you set up how much games cost and how hard the game is.

Wow, that monitor looks pretty good. You got really lucky with that thing. I bet you can sell that board to cover the cost of new buttons and maybe an iPac for the MAME machine.

You might also be able to download the manual for it somewhere. Or you can try to bid from e-bay, right now there's the pcb manual for five bucks and the game manual at buy it now for $15: www.klov.com/game_detail.php?game_id=8756(scroll down to the bottom for all the e-bay listings)
